Born and raised in Benin City, Nigeria, the art of African wax prints was a part of her life there from a young age. After emigrating to the Netherlands in 2004, her passion for African wax print fashion hasn't waned. Ankara fashion is a way for her to stay connected to her Nigerian roots. I love combining modern clothing styles with authentic and innovative wax-printed fabrics. I also find the application of these often vibrant colors in everyday Western European fashion a delightful challenge. This online shop is a way for me to share my passion for African wax-printed fashion with everyone. I hope you enjoy the products in this shop as much as I do!
